I'm glad to see Google will be extending their free Google Voice service through 2012!

Nice! I like the unified theme across Gmail, Calendar, and Docs. The bright red buttons stand out nicely.
So cool! Say goodbye to telemarketers calling at dinner time.
Thanks to the help of the thousands of Google Voice users who mark calls as spam everyday—and our own spam identification tools—it is now possible to automatically redirect calls, texts, and voicemails from any of the numbers in our database directly into your spam folder.
This is a long-awaited feature for public transit users. I can't wait to try it out!
Looking better! I like the clean look. Clutter is stressful and inefficient.
Fast is good!
There's a lot of content on the Internet that is not in English, and a lot of it is coming from China. The number of Internet users there is staggering and more keep coming, so I decided to try a little experiment and setup a blog at one of China's most popular websites Sina. I also setup an account at their Twitter clone Weibo which is part of Sina. It's actually pretty slick. Blog posts are synced to Weibo which goes beyond Twitter by allowing photos, videos, music, topics, and voting. I especially like how updates can be sent directly to my Google Talk.
So far I've seen a pretty immediate response as far as people following my blog and Weibo posts, I think because of the large user base. Probably most can read English since they learn it in school. It's been interesting and fun to read content posted by users in China. It's similar to what circulates around Twitter and Facebook here. Makes the world seem a bit smaller. I'm going to keep it going and see what kind of following I get.
If you have a need for speed, this is the phone for you!
I love how easy My Tracks is to use. It's yet another free, awesome app for Android created by Google! It records my every statistic while running, biking, or hiking. Then I can upload all my stats with one button to a Google Spreadsheet and a custom Google Map! Now I can gauge how I'm improving over time. It even tells me vocally how I'm doing during my run.
