I had a fun time this year. I didn't get to volunteer like I did last year, but I did help out with logistics. 

At the beach we discovered a flock of pelicans among the thousands of seagulls! They were quite large compared to the seagulls, and I could see many flying around looking for fish to snatch up.

The weather was just perfect all weekend. A truly amazing time to come to the Oregon coast which is typically cold and cloudy.

While it was cloudy in Portland, we lucked out and had sunshine and warm weather at the beach! The water was still freezing cold. I hadn't been to Seaside in a long time and found it to be beautiful and very popular. There were lots of people enjoying the sun, food, and shops. It was certainly more fun than Canon Beach where we went last year.
